Tips for Undergrads

Anthropologists develop a suite of valuable transferrable skills that can be applied in a wide range of job settings, including time management, presenting, writing effectively for a range of audiences, teaching, leadership, research, project management, editing, knowledge mobilization, interpersonal skills, collaboration and an appreciation of ethical and civic responsibility. These pages were developed by Professor Lisa Hodgetts and the students of her 2014 graduate course in Professional Development. We hope they will help you hone some of these skills and see the wide range of careers in which our graduates are applying them.
