The Anthropology department has six faculty research laboratories that house a variety of facilities and resources available to faculty and students including:

- X-ray equipment: Faxitron cabinet x-ray unit, Picker x-ray unit, Nikon 225 micro-CT scanner, powerful graphics computers with processing software.
